What does AS/NZS 3001.2 require?
Lithium batteries installed in a habitable area (such as where you sleep in a caravan, campervan or camper trailer) are installed so any gases cannot enter the living space. This is typically achieved by installing the battery behind a sealed barrier or within a sealed compartment, with venting directed to the outside.

Muller Energy’s Compliance Ready batteries are designed to meet this intent by isolating the cells behind a sealed barrier and providing a dedicated vent path, so any gases are routed safely to the exterior in the unlikely event of a cell failure.
