Super flexible due to it being silicone sheathed and a very thin conductor diameter of 0.08mm. This makes it much easier to install and means it will last longer when repeatedly bent.
Comes with a 50A fuse, to make DCDC extremely convenient. Simply run the cable, cut the cable where you want the DCDC to go and insert the ends into the DCDC, connect the ring terminals to the alternator/starter battery. All that’s left to do then is to plug in the 50A Anderson connector and start charging!
8AWG is the same size as 8B&S and just over 8mm2. If you use a thinner cable for 50A, you might have too much voltage drop and the DCDC may not work as desinged.
